I want a new one. Mostly because L4D2 is out and I want to play it so bad. However, I refuse to buy it unless I have a computer to play it on. This laptop doesn't run well at all, let alone with a game like that.
Another reason? This SOB gets hot. Like, it overheats and shuts itself off a lot. Kiiiinda annoying. When your laptop can burn your leg through your thick sleeping bag built for -40 degrees F, you know the heat dissipation sucks.
Because this thing isn't portable at all basically due to its poor performance off a power supply, it might as well be a desktop. Only desktops shouldn't overheat like this so.
So yeah. All I've been doing today basically is reading up on computer parts and stuff and picking things out, attempting to keep the budget as low as possible while still having really nice specs. So far, I think I have just about every component and it all costs about $800 including a monitor. I've got to run all the parts by the Canadian and see what he thinks about the parts in conjunction with the type of PC I want.

Had organic chem and Japanese today. I really like my ochem prof. Everyone said he was an asshole but I like him so far. He's funny and has a dry sense of humor, which I appreciate. I feel like I have to actually do work in Japanese this semester :/ Dammit.
I went to my first biology tutoring session today. The kids I'm going to tutor are absolutely amazing. All freshman, all from New Jersey, all biology majors, all heading to medical school. Fuck. Yes. I was so afraid I would get kids that were just taking biology to get it out of the way. I HATE those kinds of kids, at least to tutor. I wanted people who were passionate about science and by god I got them. So happy ♥
Went to the Involvement Fair at my school to see if we can get rushes for Fall rush (I'm rush chair 8D). It was AWESOME. We had 87 people list their names and emails to get info from us about rush events. I think that's the best we ever did. I want a HUGE pledge class so this is awesome. jfdkslj Yaaaaaay♥
But of course, doing all of this shit during the day means that I'm up late studying. Spectacular :| I'm only studying organic chemistry so far too. I still have biology and biochem to study auuuuuugh. This semester is going to be hell. I can see it already. =___=
I think tomorrow or the day after, my roomie and I are going to take a nice picture together. I'll post that on here.

How the hell did Mello get burned so badly on his face if he was wearing that stupid gasmask? If anyone legitimately has an answer please explain, because any explanation I can think of doesn't explain the parts that were burned.
His mask covers his entire face, so even if the mask somehow heated up enough to cause those severe burns around the outside of his face, how the hell did the scarring get around his eye and his nose? I don't think convection could have worked that brilliantly on his face. And even if it did, why isn't the rest of his face burnt/scarred as well?
As of right now, I'm going to chalk it up to Ohba/Obata fail. Just like how Mello was up and walking around with third-degree burn scars after only 8 days. Hell he was even feeling up to threatening lives after such a short period of time when REALLY he should have been screaming in pain at the mere thought of clothing covering his scars.
I'm thinking I almost need an entire tag for Ohba/Obata logic!fail.
